La Momia Azteca, translated to English as The Aztec Mummy, is a Mexican feature film of the horror genre. It was directed by Rafael Portillo with a script written by Guillermo Calderon S.. It was produced by Cinematográfica Calderón S.A. and released in Mexico on November 13th, 1957. The film stars Rosita Arenas as Flor Sepúlveda with Ramón Gay as Doctor Eduardo Almada. Almada performs experimental regression therapy on Flor and discovers that she is the reincarnation of an Aztec maiden. Their investigation into Flor's heritage brings them to the Yucatán where they discover the remains of a mummy.
