Ayla was a minor character featured in the 1994-1998 science fiction television series Babylon 5. Played by actor Jeff Austin, he appeared in the premiere episode of the series, "Midnight on the Firing Line" where he was credited as Centauri #1.
Biography[]
Ayla was a member of the Centauri race and the Watch Commander stationed aboard an agricultural colony satellite in orbit above the planet Ragesh III. In the year 2258, Ragesh III fell victim to an unprovoked attack by the Narns, who assaulted the colony with their Frazi-class heavy freighters and their heav cruisers. Ayla managed to send off an emergency broadcast back to Centauri Prime as the station was hammered with enemy fire.
