Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is an American comic book limited series published by Marvel Comics. It ran from January to April, 2005, spanning a total of eight issues. All eight issue of the series were collected in a hardcover trade edition. The series retells stories of the early days of the Avengers, revising and updating some details to bring them more in-line with modern sensibilities. The team roster of the Avengers at this junction consists of Ant-Man/Giant-Man, Captain America, Thor, Iron Man and the Wasp. And of course, you can't have an Avengers origin story without an appearance by the "Big Guy".
