Astra is a fictional alien and recurring antagonist featured on the CBS television series Supergirl. She was played by actress Laura Benanti and was introduced in the pilot episode of the show. She made seven appearances in the series in total.

- In Hinduism, an astra is a supernatural weapon, presided over by a specific deity. Later it came to denote any weapon which was used by releasing it from one hands.
- As Astra was the twin sister of Alura Zor-El, actress Laura Benanti also played Alura, as well as the hologram version of Alura seen at the Fortress of Solitude.
