"Twice Removed from Yesterday..." is the title to the first story from the thirty-first issue of the Astonishing Tales ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics. It was written by Doug Moench with a plot by Rich Buckler and artwork by Buckler and Keith Pollard. It was inked by Klaus Janson, colored by Janice Cohen and lettered by Janice Chiang. The second story is a "Tales of the Watcher" feature written by Stan Lee with artwork by Gene Colan and inks by Paul Reinman and lettering by Sam Rosen. The first story was edited by Len Wein. This issue shipped with an August, 1975 cover date and carries a cover price of .25 cents per copy.

- Deathlok was created by writer Doug Moench and plotter & artist Rich Buckler. He first appeared in Astonishing Tales #25 in August, 1974. Deathlok was the cover feature to the series for eleven issues, culminating in the conclusion of the title with Astonishing Tales #36.
- "Twice Removed from Yesterday..." is reprinted in the Marvel Masterworks: Deathlok, Volume 1 hardcover collection, released in November, 2009. It is also reprinted in the Deathlok the Demolisher: The Complete Collection, published in October, 2014.
- "Why Won't They Believe Me?" was originally printed in Silver Surfer #3 in December, 1968. This is a re-imagining of a similarly named story that appeared as the first story in Amazing Adult Fantasy #7 in December, 1961.
- This is the sixth appearance of Luther Manning as Deathlok. He appeared last in Astonishing Tales #30.
- This is the third and final appearance of Linc Shane. He appears as a corpse only in this issue. He appeared last in Astonishing Tales #30.
- This is the first and only appearance to date of Quartuccio.
