Ashley Parker is a fictional teenager and a supporting character featured in the 2002 "creature feature" film Eight Legged Freaks. She was played by actress Scarlett Johansson.
Overview[]
Ashley Parker is a teenage girl from the town of Prosperity, Arizona. She is the first child of the town's sheriff, Samantha Parker, and has a younger brother named Mike. Ashley is a bit of a rebel and prefers to march to the beat of her own drum. She harbors no small amount of resentment towards her mother for getting pregnant with her when she was only sixteen. Her mother being the sheriff does little to dampen Ashley's attitude, and she prefers to associate with disreputable boyrfriends like Bret. In an effort to be a protective mother, Samantha armed Ashley with a taser, which she put to good use when Bret became a bit too frisky, giving him a surprising jolt to the crotch.
