Arnold Radisch is a fictional college student and a minor character featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is associated with the Eternals line of comic titles and first appeared in The Eternals #6 in December, 1976 in a story called "Gods and Men at City College".
Biography[]
Arnold Radisch was a student at City College in New York City. Anthropology professor Sam Holden held a lecture in which he introduced the student body to two distinct races of immortal beings - the Eternals and the Deviants. The Deviant known as Kro demonstrated his fantastic powers of transmutation, but the sarcastic Radisch dismissed the feats as simple gimmickry. The Eternal Sersi took umbrage with this and proved Arnold wrong by temporarily transforming his head to resemble that of Ben Grimm, the hero known as the Thing from the Fantastic Four. At the urging of her peers, Sersi turned Arnold's head back to normal, though his fellow students got quite a laugh at his expense. [1]
