Biography[]
Arnold Beck was once employed by Kord Omniversal Research and Development. After being dismissed from his position, the resentful Beck became involved with the secret society cult known as the Manhunters. The Manhunter Cult outfitted him with an armor-plate costume and a cesta. He fought up against Ted Kord, the Blue Beetle using the code name Overthrow.
Years later, Arnold Beck was spotted in Moscow, Russia committing an act of terrorism. Dmitri Pushkin of the Rocket Red Brigade faced off against him, but Beck managed to escape. He later went to a bar where he flirted with one of the female patrons. Maxwell Lord activated an O.M.A.C. to target Overthrow, and the O.M.A.C. used its bio-weaponry to cut Beck in half. [1] Dmitri Pushkin later discovered his remains in a back alley. [2]
