Biography[]
Ardmore was a middle-aged man who worked as a psychiatrist at County General Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. In November of 1988, young Andy Barclay had been placed under his observation following the unexplained death of his babysitter Maggie Peterson. Andy had persistently claimed that his toy doll, Chucky, was responsible for Maggie's death.
Chucky came to the hospital to take possession of Andy, but Ardmore proved to be an obstacle for him. He stabbed him in the lower leg with a scalpel, then applied some electrical head harness to him. Activating the device, Chucky electrocuted Doctor Ardmore and his body was found with severed burns across his face.
Notes & Trivia[]
- Doctor Ardmore is the fourth on-screen victim of Chucky. Episodes of Chucky: The Series will reveal additional victims who are killed prior to the events of the Child's Play film.
