April Sommers was a former model who became the landlady of an apartment building. One of her tenants was Bruce Banner, who stayed at her place for a brief while while trying to keep a low profile. April developed a romantic interest in Bruce. When Bruce was unable to find gainful employment, April hooked him up with a job working at a construction site. [1]
