"Pasts" is the second issue of the Ape Nation comic book limited series published by Malibu Graphics under their Adventure Comics imprint. The story was written by Charles Marshall with artwork by M.C. Wyman and inks by Terry Pallot. It was colored by David de Vries and lettered by Clem Robins. Editorial assist are by Mickie Villa and Dan Danko. This issue shipped with an April, 1991 cover date and carries a cover price of $2.50 per copy (US).

- Ape Nation is published by Dave Olbrich.
- The Planet of the Apes franchise was first created by French novelist Pierre Boulle, who wrote the novel La Planete des singes in 1963. The concept was retooled by famed science fiction author Rod Serling and brought to life as a feature film in 1968, directed by Franklin J. Schaffner and written by Serling and Michael Wilson. This inaugural film spawned four sequels, a live-action TV series, and animated series, and several remakes.
- The Alien Nation franchise was created by writer & executive producer Rockne S. O'Bannon. It is a science fiction franchise that began as feature film in 1988, and spawned into a television series, which ran from 1989 to 1990, and spawned several television movie spin-offs.
- This is the first full-color limited series published under Malibu's Adventure Comics imprint.
- Tom Mason is the creative director of this series.
- Includes a forward by Tom Mason called "Alien Management".
