Notes & Trivia[]
- According to a map that Cornelius has, Ape City is located some distance east of the lake that the Icarus crash landed in. The lake region and Ape City are separated by a mountain range and a verdant plain where of the primitive humans live.
- In terms of layout and architecture, Ape City bears a strong resemblance to Central City, California, which existed during the early 31st century. This is owed to the fact that stock footage of Ape City from the original films was spliced into segue scenes on the Planet of the Apes television series.
