Anya Jenkins, known mostly as just Anya, is a fictional demon and a supporting character featured on the WB Network/UPN television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Played by actress Emma Caulfield, she was introduced in the season three episode, "The Wish". She made recurring appearances throughout the season, and was a supporting character in season four. By season five, Emma Caulfield was bumped up to the main cast list, and remained there for the show's final two seasons. In total, she made eighty-two appearances on the program.
