History[]
The Anti-Robot Photonic Multi-Cannon was a giant super-weapon designed by computer engineer Josie Beller for Blackrock Enterprises. Blackrock's owner and CEO G.B. Blackrock commissioned the development of the weapon to combat the threat of giant robots that had recently awakened on the planet Earth. Blackrock publicly unveiled the cannon at a special expo at the Blackrock Motor Speedway. Referring to it as a "technological miracle", he promised that it would end, once and for all, the threat of giant robots terrorizing towns and endangering human lives. He claimed that single blast from the massive weapon could reduce any Transformer to a pile of filings. He activated the device and aimed it at a replica of one of the Transformers, but the barrel of the cannon barely fizzled and went inactive. Blackrock stood in silent shock as the crowd began to chuckle and then laugh hysterically at his failure.
Complicating matters even further, Josie Beller made an unexpected appearance during the presentation. Now known as the cybernetic Circuit-Breaker, she confessed towards using her powers of electronic disruption to fry the cannon's circuits, emphasizing that she was truly Blackrock's secret weapon against the Transformers.
The Decepticon known as Starscream attacked the assembly, but fortunately for all of the humans present, they were defended by the timely arrival of the Autobots, Jazz and Wheeljack.
