Antha Mayfair is a fictional witch and a supporting character featured in the Lives of the Mayfair Witches line of novels by author Anne Rice. She appeared in the first book in the series, The Witching Hour, published in October, 1990.
Biography[]
Antha Mayfair was a female member of the Mayfair family of New Orleans, Louisiana. She was the daughter of Stella Mayfair and possibly Stella's brother, Lionel. She was the eleventh designee of the Mayfair legacy line of witches.
As an adult she ran off to New York City where she met an artist named Sean Lacy. Antha and Sean were married and had a daughter named Deirdre.
