"Destiny (Part 1)" is the first issue of the Annihilation: Conquest: Quasar comic book limited series published by Marvel Comics. The issue was written by Christos N. Gage with artwork by Mike Lilly and inks by Bob Almond. It was colored by Stephane Peru and lettered by Joe Caramagna of Virtual Calligraphy. - The character of Phyla-Vell, who is the second costumed hero to go by the code-name of Quasar, was created by writer Peter David and artist Paul Azaceta. She first appeared in Captain Marvel, Volume 5 #16 in January, 2004 in a story called "Crazy Like a Fox (Part 2): Uh-Uh".
