Animorphs was a Canadian children's television series based on the Animorphs K.A. Applegate . The series premiered on YTV and Nickelodeon on September 15th , 1998 . The six episodes that comprised season two of the series were originally broadcast on the Global Television Network .

The first series was released on VHS on a series of tapes called Animorphs: The Invasion Series Sony Pictures on February 16th , 1999 . The following volume, which included episodes 4-6 was released on April 6th , 1999 . Volumes 3 and 4, which included episodes 7-9 and 10-12 (respectively) was released on August 3rd , 1999 .
