Angelville is a fictional residence featured in the Preacher comic book series published by DC Comics under their Vertigo imprint. It first appeared in Preacher #8 in November, 1995.
Overview[]
Angelville is a plantation house located in the U.S. state of Texas, very close to the border of Louisiana. It was occupied by the L'Angell family, which was led by the family's matriarch, Marie L'Angell. This was also where her daughter, Christina lived before running away to marry a Vietnam veteran named John Custer. The house was eventually burned to the ground by Christina's son, Jesse Custer.
