Biography[]
Angela Walsh was a preadolescent girl who lived in the town of Springwood, Ohio in the mid 1980s. She was the youngest child of Ken Walsh and Cheryl Walsh and was the sister of teenager Jesse Walsh. In 1985, the Walsh family moved into a modest home at 1428 Elm Street. Jesse Walsh began experiencing intense nightmares relating to a demonic entity known as Freddy Krueger who would attack him with a glove that contained razor blade claws on the finger-tips. He often awoke from these nightmares with a shrill scream, which prompted Angela to ask, "Why can't Jesse wake up like a normal person?"
When Jesse came downstairs for breakfast, Angela was playing with plastic finger-claws that she got out of a box of Fu Man Chews breakfast cereal. This imagery reminded Jesse of his dream, and seeing his sister playing with the toy claws greatly disturbed him.
A short time later, Freddy Krueger took possession of Jesse and tried to have Jesse kill Angela in her sleep. Jesse managed to fight him off long enough to resume measure of control over his body however. Krueger was eventually exorcised from Jesse's body with some help from classmate Lisa Webber. [1]
The Walsh family moved out of 1428 Elm Street shortly thereafter. What became of Angela Walsh following these events is unknown.
