Angel is an American comic book series of the supernatural-action genres. It is based on the Angel television series, which aired on the WB Network from 1999 to 2004. This is the second and final comic book adaptation published by Dark Horse Comics. It ran for four issues from September, 2001 to May, 2002. The series was written by Brett Matthews and Joss Whedon with artwork by Melvin Rubi & inks by Chris Dreier. The series was edited by Scott Allie with Michael Carriglitto as assistant editor.
