Angel O'Hara is a fictional Irish protestant and a character featured in comic book titles published by Marvel Comics. She first appeared in Giant-Size Chillers #1 in June, 1974. Angel O'Hara hailed from Northern Ireland, but came to the United States where she lived in Greenwich Village in New York City. She became possessed by the vampire known as Lilith Drake, who operated out of her body for some time.
Biography[]
Angel O'Hara, a protestant from Northern Ireland, was married secretly to Ted Hannigan, a catholic. When her father, a drinker, found out, he killed Ted, at which point she became possessed by Lilith, daughter of Dracula, who killed her father.
Angel then moved to New York, where she met Martin Gold, whose girlfriend had recently been killed by an axe murderer.
