Angel: Surrogates is a trade paperback collection that reprints the first three issues of the first Angel comic book series by Dark Horse Comics. The story was written by Christopher Golden with artwork by Christian Zanier and Marvin Mariano. It was inked by Andy Owens and colored by Digital Broome. It was lettered by Clem Robins. All three stories were edited by Scott Allie, with Adam Gallardo as assistant editor. This volume shipped in December, 2000 and carries a cover price of $9.95 (US).
Plot[]
Angel was in deep trouble as he tried to solve a case involving a demonic fertility clinic. Just why were mothers being murdered and husbands turned into zombie-like guards? With the help of his sidekicks, Cordelia and Doyle, Angel was hot on the trail of the woman who may have been responsible for the homicidal mayhem. But Angel was about to find out that catching up with her was the last thing he wanted to do!
