"Conviction" is the first episode of season five of the supernatural action/drama series Angel and the ninetieth episode of the series overall. It was written and directed by series creator Joss Whedon. It first aired on the WB Network on Wednesday, October 1st, 2003. All of the team members at Angel Investigations are settling into their new digs at Wolfram & Hart. They meet their new corporate liaison, Eve, and Charles Gunn gets an upgrade.
