"Are You Now or Have You Ever Been" is the second episode of season two of the supernatural action series Angel and the twenty-fifth episode of the series overall. It was directed by David Semel with a script written by Tim Minear. It first aired on the WB Network on October 3rd, 2000. In addition to the main cast, this episode features guest appearances by Melissa Marsala as Judy Kovacs, John Kapelos as Roland Meeks and Tommy Hinkley as private investigator C. Mulvihill.
