Season Two of Angel aired on the WB Network from September 26th, 2000 to May 22nd, 2001. It spanned a total of twenty-two episodes. The season stars David Boreanaz, Charisma Carpenter and Alexis Denisof reprising their roles as Angel, Cordelia Chase and Wesley Wyndam-Pryce. Season one guest star J. August Richards joins the regular cast for season two as Charles Gunn. Season two is also notable for introducing Winifred "Fred" Burkle, who will become a major character throughout the series.
