Andromeda is a joint Canadian/American science fiction television series that aired on the Global Television Network and the Sci-Fi Channel from October of 2000 to May of 2005 spanning five seasons (22 episodes per season) for a total of 110 episodes. The series was originally conceived by the late Gene Roddenberry, better known as the creator of the Star Trek franchise. Roddenberry had passed away in 1991, long before the series was put into production, but his vision came to life through the efforts of his widow Majel Barrett-Roddenberry and story developer Robert Hewitt Wolfe.
Season four of Andromeda aired from September 29th, 2003 to May 17th, 2004 for a total of twenty-two episodes. Series regulars, Kevin Sorbo, Lisa Ryder, Laura Bertram, Gordon Michael Woolvett and Lexa Doig all returned to reprise their respective roles on the series. Actor Keith Hamilton Cobb bowed out of the show during this season as his character, Tyr Anasazi, had been killed off. Actor Brent Stait made guest appearances on the show as Rev Bem. Actor Steve Bacic joined the cast as a full-time regular.
