It was directed by Aaron Lipstadt with a screenplay written by James Reigle and Don Opper based on an original concept by Will Reigle. It was produced by SHO Films and opened to test screenings in the United States on October 16th, 1982. It was screened at the Chicago International Film Festival on November 5th, 1983.
