Andrew Zagarian is a fictional scientist featured in comic books published by DC Comics. He originated during the Silver Age era and first appeared in Justice League of America #45 in June, 1966 in a story titled "The Super-Struggle Against Shaggy Man!"
Biography[]
Professor Andrew Zagarian was a scientist. He was responsible for the creation of an artificial humanoid that came to be known as the Shaggy Man. He began his experiment with the best of intentions... but, you know what they say about the Path to Hell. Zagarian ended up mixing the right amount of chocolate with the wrong amount of peanut butter and poof! The Shaggy Man was born. Zagarian has been slamming his head on his desk over that one ever since.
