Biography[]

Andoheb was an aging mystic who held the title of High Priest in the region known was Arkam in Egypt. Around the year 1970, advanced aged took hold of him and he decided to pass his title and duties unto the younger Yousef Bey.

Andoheb explained to Bey that he would become the caretaker of the mummy known as Kharis. He instructed him to retrieve the body of Kharis and reunite it with that of the Princess Ananka, whose soul resided in the body of an American teenager named Amina Mansouri.

Notes & Trivia[]

  • Although The Mummy's Hand was released in 1940, the continuity of the sequels establishes the timeline as taking place in the year 1970, despite the fact that fashions and attitudes are more indicative of the 1940s than the 1970s.
  • Professor Matthew Norman of Mapleton, Massachusetts taught his class the history of the priest of Arkam.
