Andina is a fictional alien and a minor character featured on the Syfy original series Defiance. Played by actress Amy Forsyth, she first appeared in the season two episode, "Doll Parts". She made two appearances in season two of the show.
Biography[]
Andina is a young Castithan woman and the daughter of Kirus. She was brought into the Tarr residence as a handmaiden to replace the late Jalina after Andina's father confessed to the murder of Deirdre Lamb (a crime that was actually committed by Christie McCawley).
Andina began developing an interest in Alak Tarr and would even ask Stahma about him, giving the impression that she enjoyed the company of "dangerous men". When the Tarrs were away searching for Alak and Christie, Andina had the Tarr residence to herself. She would enjoy using the Kiri Eshkiwa bath salts in their communal tub.
After Alak and Christie's baby, Luke Tarr, was recovered, Andina would also serve as babysitter for the child. When Alak returned after being a prisoner of General Rahm Tak, he attacked his mother. Andina ran to find Lawkeeper Joshua Nolan and bring him back to the house.
