Biography[]
Amy Powell was an attractive blonde-haired woman from Mahwah, New Jersey. As an adult, she moved to New York City where she began dating Daily Bugle photographer Lance Bannon, though admittedly, she wanted to maintain an open relationship. This became a source of contention between the two and they got into an argument over it in the offices of the Daily Bugle, which resulted in Amy storming out the door. [1]
Amy returned to the Daily Bugle a few days later looking for Lance, and literally walked into Peter Parker, who was also a photographer. Amy was impressed by how deftly Peter avoided knocking her to the floor, as if he had some preternatural sense about him. She found herself intrigued by Parker, and schemed about using him to make Lance jealous. [2]
Amy came back to the Daily Bugle the next day, although this time, she was deliberately hoping to run into Peter Parker. She caught him as he was trying to make one of his numerous fast exits from the building, and introduced herself. Despite her flirtations, Peter had other places to be, but Amy was undeterred. [3]
