Amulet of Hatshepsut

The Amulet of Hatshepsut is a fictional mystical item featured on the 1975-1976 superhero action series Isis. It is a mystical artifact worn by Andrea Thomas, aka Isis, and is one of her symbols of power.

Over three-thousand years ago, an Egyptian sorcerer crafted a mystical amulet and gave it to his queen, Hatshepsut, declaring that it contained the power of the goddess Isis herself. The wearer of such an item could command the power of the animals and of the elements. "You will soar as the falcon soars..." he told the queen. "...run with the speed of gazelles, and command the elements of sky and Earth". Three millennia later, a California science teacher named Andrea Thomas went on an archaeological dig in Egypt and uncovered the amulet. She instinctively learned about the relic's history and power and used it to transform herself into a champion for good. Calling herself Isis, after the amulet’s namesake, Andrea Thomas used her elemental powers to right wrongs and protect her friends.

On the television series Legends of Tomorrow, there is an ancient artifact known as the Air Totem. It was discovered in the future year of 2042 and was utilized by Behrad Tomaz in his ongoing struggles against the A.R.G.U.S. organization. After Behrad died, his sister, Zari Tomaz, began wearing the amulet. She used it to summon the powers of air to save the life of Ray Palmer against an assassin named Kuasa. Zari continued to wear the amulet after she joined the Legends.
