Americana is a fictional location featured in the Friday the 13th multimedia franchise. It is associated with the Jason X timeline and appeared in the 2005 novel Jason X: Death Moon.
Description[]
Americana was a moon in orbit around the planet known as Earth II. One of the notable locales established on the moon was Moon Camp Americana, which was a housing complex and education center. It was a finishing school for wayward young girls, the charges of which proved to be quite unruly. The school was situated near a scientific research center that housed the cybernetic 20th century mass murderer Jason Voorhees. Voorhees escaped and went on a killing spree at the school.
Americana was also home to a vast prison complex holding some of the most dangerous convicts in the universe. When a team of cyber-engineers uncovered the body of an altered cybernetic Jason beneath the prison, they were forced to fight through rioting inmates to stop the deadly monster that they had unleashed.
