Production[]
- This episode aired just ten days after the Las Vegas mass shooting on October 1st, 2017 wherein 64-year-old Stephen Paddock opened fire on the crowd in attendance at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival. The episode had been filmed prior to the incident, but out of sensitivity, the FX Network demanded that Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk should substantially edit the shooting scenes in this episode. The edited version of the episode is what aired on October 10th. The uncut version was released on video-on-demand.
