"And Who Shall Claim a Kingly Crown?" is the title to the 441st issue of the first Amazing Spider-Man ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics. The story was written by John Byrne with artwork by Rafael Kayanan and inks by Bud LaRosa. It was colored by Mike Rockwitz & Matt Hicks and lettered by Richard Starkings & Liz Agraphiotis. The story was edited by Ralph Macchio with Matt Hicks as assistant editor. This issue shipped with a November, 1998 cover date and carries a cover price of $1.99 per copy (US).

- The character of Spider-Man was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko. He first appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15 in August, 1962 in a story titled "Spider-Man!" The character has since gone on to become one of the most well-known and enduring super-heroes of all time, having appeared in numerous comic book titles, as well as feature films, animated projects and video games.
- This is the final regular issue of the series for the next several years. Following the discontinuation of volume 1, the title is restarted as Amazing Spider-Man, Volume 2 beginning with issue #1. The second series eventually reverts back to the original volume 1 numbering sequence adding the totals of both volumes. Volume 1 resumes with issue #500.
- This issue includes a gatefold cover with a recap of events from previous issues as well a list of the main characters.
- This is the first installment of "The Final Chapter" storyline. The next installment is in Spider-Man #97.
- This is the second appearance of Mattie Franklin. She is destined to become the new Spider-Woman. Mattie appeared last in Amazing Spider-Man #440.
