"Homecoming" is the title to the 252nd issue of the first Amazing Spider-Man ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics. It was scripted by Tom DeFalco with Roger Stern as plotter. Pencil breakdowns were by Ron Frenz with finished art by Brett Breeding. It was colored by Glynis Oliver and lettered by Joe Rosen. The story was edited by Danny Fingeroth. This issue shipped with a May, 1984 cover date and carries a cover price of .60 cents per copy.

- The character of Spider-Man was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko. He first appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15 in August, 1962 in a story titled "Spider-Man!" The character has since gone on to become one of the most well-known and enduring super-heroes of all time, having appeared in numerous comic book titles, as well as feature films, animated projects and video games.
- This issue shipped in both direct market and newsstand editions.
- Only the newsstand edition carries the approval stamp of the Comics Code Authority.
- The tagline to this issue is "The rumors are true. Introducing... the new Spider-Man!"
- "Homecoming" is also the subtitle of the 2017 feature film Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is the first installment of a Spider-Man film series that takes place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
- Spider-Man chronologically appeared last in Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #12.
