Volume 1 Amazing Fantasy #15. Volume One of Amazing Fantasy was a re-titled single issue published by Marvel Comics that comprised issue #15, cover-dated August, 1962. The series was previously titled Amazing Adult Fantasy. The series was revisited briefly in 1995 with issues #16-18. While Amazing Adult Fantasy did not exactly make any sizeable waves sales-wise for Marvel, issue #15 proved to be one of the single most important and highly sought after collector's pieces of all time. The issue introduced the character of Peter Parker, aka, the Amazing Spider-Man, who would become an onvernight sensation and one of the most enduring and memorable superheroes of all time. |
Volume 2 Amazing Fantasy, Vol. 2 #1 Volume Two of Amazing Fantasy is an American ongoing comic book series of the superhero genre. The title is an anthology series, focusing on different characters, usually superheroes, with each issue. The series was published from August, 2004 to June, 2006 totalling twenty issues. The first six issues spotlighted the character of Latino teen heroine Araña. The following issues spotlighted the character of Carmilla Black, the new Scorpion. Issue #10 of the series introduced Nina Price, aka, the Vampire by Night. Issues #13-15 featured Captain Universe while issues #16-20 feastured Death's Head 3.0. |
