Biography[]
Amanda Ripley was the daughter of Ellen Ripley and was born in 2111. Ellen always referred to as Amy. When Amanda was ten-years-old, Ellen went off on deep-space mining mission aboard the USCSS Nostromo, but she promised Amanda she would be back in time for her eleventh birthday. As things turned out, an alien xenomorph attacked the ship, forcing Ripley to take action, which ultimately led to her putting herself into an extended hyper-sleep.
When she finally awakened, it was the year 2179. By this point in time, Amanda Ripley had married someone named McLaren and died at the age of sixty-six in 2177. She was cremated and interred at West Lake Depository in Little Shoot, Wisconsin. Ellen Ripley asked Carter Burke to retrieve any information he could find about her daughter. Burke brought her up to speed on what little information he was able to find just before Ripley's inquest.
