Amanda Fisher is a fictional law-enforcement officer and one of the main characters on the Starz horror/comedy series Ash vs Evil Dead. Played by actress Jill Marie Jones, she was introduced in the pilot episode of the series, "El Jefe".
Biography[]
Amanda Fisher was a special agent with the Michigan State Police Department. Along with her partner, Carson, Amanda responded to an emergency when someone complained about hearing a woman screaming from a house. They investigated the matter and found that the woman, Lucy, had been possessed by a malevolent Kandarian spirit. She stabbed Amanda through the hand, and then possessed Carson. The possessed Carson attacked Amanda, forcing her to shoot him multiple times until he was destroyed. [1]
A doppelgänger of Ash Williams tricked Amanda into believing that it was the real Ash, and then killed her with a meat cleaver and impaled her. Amanda was resurrected as a Deadite and appeared in the woods outside the Knowby cabin. She killed two hikers named Melissa and Brad. [2]
