"Cause and Effect" is the second episode of season one of the science fiction television series Alphas and the second episode of the series overall. It was directed by Constantine Makris and written by Julie Siege. It first aired on Syfy on Monday, July 18th, 2011. The series stars David Strathairn as Doctor Lee Rosen, Ryan Cartwright as Gary Bell, Warren Christie as Cameron Hicks, Azita Ghanizada as Rachel Pirzad, Laura Mennell as Nina Theroux and Malik Yoba as Bill Harken.
