Notes & Trivia[]

- Alpha Flight is a fictional Canadian superhero team featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The team was created by writer Chris Claremont and John Byrne and were originally introduced as a foil to the X-Men in the pages of Uncanny X-Men #120 in April, 1979. They later branched off into their own Alpha Flight ongoing comic book series in 1983.
- There is a patron at Corky's Tavern who looks suspiciously a lot like Alpha Flight creator, writer and artist John Byrne.
- This issue includes a pin-up page of Jeanne-Marie Beaubier, Heather McNeil Hudson, and Lillian Crawley at the Cloister's strip club for Lillian's bachelorette party.
- The "Alpha Waves" letters column includes letters sent in by Michael J. Church, Kevin Fluit, Mike Lansley, and James Grady Bishop.
- This is the first and only appearance of Tungsten Ravitch.
- This is the first appearance of Amy Brewer.
- Eugene Milton Judd paraphrases the line "Of all the gin joints in all the world", which is a line of dialogue from the 1942 film Casablanca.
