"The Adventure of the Underfed Orphans" is the title to the first story featured in issue #31 of All-American Comics, published by the All-American Publications. It is a Green Lantern story written by Bill Finger with artwork by Martin Nodell. The second tale is a four-page Red Tornado & Scribbly strip written and illustrated by Sheldon Mayer. The third story features Hop Harrigan and is six-pages long and is crafted by Jon L. Blummer. This is followed by a "Red, White and Blue" vignette written by John B. Wentworth with artwork by Harry Lampert. This is followed up by a Sargon the Sorcerer feature, also written by Wentworth, with artwork by Howard Purcell. The final two tales, both superhero stories features the Atom in "The Dude Ranch Mystery" by Bill O'Connor, Ben Flinton, and Leonard Sansone and "Mystery of the Medium" starring Doctor Mid-Nite by Charles Reizenstein and Stan Aschmeier.
