Aliens are Coming is an American science fiction telemovie. Directed by Harvey Hart, it was produced by Quinn Martin Productions and premiered on March 2nd, 1980 on NBC. The film was originally intended as a pilot episode for a potential television series, but NBC opted to not pick it up.

  • Was purported to be a remake of the Roy Thinnes television series The Invaders.
  • Director Harvey Hart also directed the "Mudd's Women" episode of Star Trek and two episodes of The Starlost.
  • Tom Mason also played the role of President Douglas in the 1994 film The Puppet Masters.
  • This film marks an early television appearance by actor Ed Harris. Harris will go on to play the lead role of Virgil "Bud" Brigman in James Cameron's 1989 sci-fi film The Abyss.
  • Late actress Caroline McWilliams is best known for playing the role of Marcy Hill on the 1979-1981 sitcom Benson. On that show, Caroline co-starred with actors Rene Auberjonois and Ethan Phillips, both of whom would go on to play major characters in the Star Trek mythos. Auberjonois played the shape-changing Odo on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine while Phillips played the Talaxian known as Neelix on Star Trek: Voyager.
