This volume includes the first two limited series from the franchise, as well as the Aliens: Earth War limited series. The first two titles have since been branded by the subtitles of "Outbreak" and "Nightmare Asylum". The Aliens: Earth War series has also been published under the title "Female War". This volume shipped to retailers in June, 2007 and carries a cover price of $24.99 per copy (US).
Billie only wanted what all children want -- the warmth and security of family, the human connectedness that comes from belonging. What she got was a nightmare without end. Wilks was a space marine with a near-fatal flaw: he had a heart. Billie was a child, the only survivor of a far-flung colony outpost. Thrown together in the last hellish night of an Alien invasion, Billie and Wilks helped each other get out alive. Thirteen years later, Wilks is in prison and Billie lives in a mental institution, the nightmare memories of the massacre at Rim seared into her mind. Now the pair get a chance to be reunited. To go back to that outpost where it all happened, to finally end the business between themselves . . . and the Aliens.

Notes & Trivia[]
- The Aliens franchise was created by director Ridley Scott and screenplay writer Dan O'Bannon. It was first brought to life in the 1979 sci-fi/horror movie Alien, which spawned multiple sequels, prequels, and crossover films. Other notable directors in the franchise include James Cameron, David Fincher, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, and Paul W.S. Anderson.

- The events of this series take place many years after the Aliens film and features Dwayne Hicks and an adult Rebecca Jordan. The 1992 film Alien³ throws a monkey-wrench into comic continuity with revelations about the final fates of Newt and Hicks. Subsequent reprintings of stories from this series see the characters' names changed to Billie and Lance Corporal Wilkes.
