Aliens is a family of comic book title of the science fiction and horror genres that were published by Dark Horse Comics. The titles are based on the Aliens feature film series, which began with Ridley Scott's 1979 seminal classic Alien, and continued on through several sequels including Aliens, directed by James Cameron, Alien³, directed by David Fincher, and Alien: Resurrection, directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. The franchise branched off into crossover films with the Predator series with Alien vs. Predator, and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, as well as two prequel films, Prometheus and Alien: Covenant, which saw the return of franchise director Ridley Scott. Since 1989, Dark Horse Comics has maintained the license on comic book titles based on the Aliens franchise. Aliens stories have also appeared in select issue of the anthology titles Dark Horse Comics and Dark Horse Presents.

It was first brought to life in the 1979 sci-fi/horror movie Alien, which spawned multiple sequels, prequels, and crossover films. Other notable directors in the franchise include James Cameron, David Fincher, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, and Paul W.S. Anderson.
