Alien: The Labyrinth is a novel set within the science fiction and horror genres. It takes place in the continuity of the Aliens multimedia franchise. The novel was written by S.D. Perry and published by Bantam Spectra. It was released in paperback form on March 1st, 1996. The story takes place on the research space station Innominata, where Doctor Paul Church is having some success in exploring the Xenomorphs' ability to communicate telepathically. Doctor Crespi is dispatched by his superiors to assist Church, although Crespi also harbors a secret mission — to investigate Church and his methods, and determine whether he is in fact a dangerously insane psychopath.
