"Stronghold (Part 1)" is the title to the first issue of the four-part Aliens Stronghold comic book limited series published by Dark Horse Comics. The story is set within the non-canon continuity of the Aliens film series by Brandywine Productions and the Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation. The story was written by John Arcudi with artwork and inks by Doug Mahnke. It was colored by Perry McNamee and lettered by Ellie De Ville. Doug Mahnke also rendered the cover art illustration for this issue. The story was edited by Ryder Windham. This issue shipped with a May, 1994 cover date and carries a cover price of $2.50 per copy (US).

- The Aliens franchise was created by director Ridley Scott and screenplay writer Dan O'Bannon. It was first brought to life in the 1979 sci-fi/horror movie Alien, which spawned multiple sequels, prequels, and crossover films. Other notable directors in the franchise include James Cameron, David Fincher, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, and Paul W.S. Anderson.
- This issue is reprinted in the Aliens: Stronghold trade paperback collection, which was released by Dark Horse Comics in July, 1996. The collection features an original cover art design by Duncan Fegredo. The issue was reprinted again in July, 1997 in the Aliens, Volume 8: Stronghold collection. It was also included in the Aliens Omnibus, Volume 4 trade paperback collection, released in July, 2008.
