Notes & Trivia[]
- The Aliens franchise was created by director Ridley Scott and screenplay writer Dan O'Bannon. It was first brought to life in the 1979 sci-fi/horror movie Alien, which spawned multiple sequels, prequels, and crossover films. Other notable directors in the franchise include James Cameron, David Fincher, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, and Paul W.S. Anderson.
- Stories from this volume are also reprinted in the Aliens: Book Two hardcover collection, released in 1990 as well as the Aliens 30th Anniversary: The Original Comics Series #2 from April, 2017.
- This volume gives special thanks to Joshua Izzo and Lauren Winorski at Twentieth Century Fox for licensing.
- The cover to this volume is reprinted in Aliens Omnibus, Volume 1, published in June, 2007.
- The events of this series take place many years after the Aliens film and features Dwayne Hicks and an adult Rebecca Jordan. The 1992 film Alien³ throws a monkey-wrench into comic continuity with revelations about the final fates of Newt and Hicks. Subsequent reprintings of stories from this series see the characters' names changed to Billie and Lance Corporal Wilks.
