"Kidnapped" is the subtitle to the first issue of the Aliens: Kidnapped comic book limited series published by Dark Horse Comics. The series is based on the Aliens film series by Brandywine Productions and the Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation. The book was written by Jim Woodring & Justin Green with artwork & inks by Francisco Solano López. It was colored by Chris Chalenor and lettered by Clem Robins. The story was edited by Philip Amara and David Land. This issue shipped with a December, 1997 cover date and carries a cover price of $2.50 per copy (US).
Plot[]
In the dark reaches of the universe lies a remote planet that holds both forbidden pleasures and unspeakable horrors. For three naïve smugglers, it's also a place to unload some deadly cargo: an Alien egg. But, something about this egg is scaring off the black marketeers. And when it hatches, the nightmare's just begun.

- The Aliens franchise was created by director Ridley Scott and screenplay writer Dan O'Bannon. It was first brought to life in the 1979 sci-fi/horror movie Alien, which spawned multiple sequels, prequels, and crossover films. Other notable directors in the franchise include James Cameron, David Fincher, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, and Paul W.S. Anderson.
- This issue is reprinted in the Aliens: Kidnapped trade paperback collection, which was published by Dark Horse Comics in February, 1999. It is also included in the Aliens Omnibus, Volume 5 hardcover collection, released in October, 2008.
