Alien Nation is an American television series of the science fiction and crime drama genres. It is a spin-off/remake of the 1989 film, Alien Nation, directed by Graham Baker. The television series was created by Kenneth Johnson and produced by 20th Century Fox Television and Kenneth Johnson Productions. It ran for a single season from September, 1989 to May, 1990, spanning a total of twenty-three episodes. Between 1994 and 1997, five television movie tie-ins were produced and aired on the FOX Network.
